Methods of Take
EYES FRONT ENTERTAINMENT is producing a series of television programs. The series is titled “METHODS OF TAKE” and it is unlike any outdoor (fishing and hunting) show being aired today. It is our intention to build a sportsman television program that will intrigue viewers and captivate their interest by showing methods of hunting and fishing that are unconventional. We will entertain and educate through history, techniques, geography, artistic expression, culture and the pursuit of game using a variety of methods.
In comparison most outdoor shows being televised today can seem monotonous and even boring with a lot of the same game species being taken in typical fashion with rod or gun. We are hoping we can shake things up a little and give sportsmen something fascinating to watch by showing other methods in use and pursuing a variety of fish and game. The plot of the show is original and we anticipate a large viewing audience.
We are currently in the process of completing our outdoor reality show, “METHODS OF TAKE” and plan to bring it to a national outdoor television network in the fall of 2010. The following is a brief summary of the show.
Two Sportsmen learn unconventional methods used to take a variety of game and fish. They learn from professionals about equipment, techniques, and any other aspects involved in a specific method that will prepare them with the necessary skills needed to make a harvest. When the professionals feel that the sportsmen are ready for the challenge, the Sportsmen will use the method taught in a real pursuit. Should a successful harvest be made, they will then participate in the cleaning and processing of the game for its ultimate use. A prime portion of any edible harvest will then be brought to a chef and cooked. The sportsmen are served the dish made by the chef and share stories about their experience using a particular method. Episodes in the “METHODS OF TAKE” series may include Falconry, Wild Boar Hunting with dogs, Free diving for Lobster, etc.
